How To Use It

To use as a wash mitt:

1. Using a hose or power washer, spray down your vehicle to rinse any loose dirt or debris.

2. Add your preferred car wash shampoo to a bucket or foam dispenser. For a high-quality, pH-balanced foam wash solution, we recommend Hybrid Solutions PRO Pure Wash.

3. Wash your vehicle, one panel at a time. Use the chenille fibre side of the MaxShine Mitt to agitate the cleaner. Rinse the mitt as needed in a bucket of clean water.

4. Continue working your way around your car, cleaning one panel at a time.

5. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

To use as a clay mitt:

1. Apply your preferred clay lubricant to one panel of your car or use Hybrid Solutions PRO Pure Wash to refoam your freshly washed car.

2. If you are using your MaxShine Mitt for the first time, rub the synthetic substrate over your windshield to prep the mitt and get the clay working.

3. Apply the clay side of the mitt to your vehicle, working in back-and-forth passes to remove contaminants embedded in the clear coat. Rinse your mitt regularly in a bucket of clean water.

4. Repeat these steps on each panel until you’ve decontaminated the entire car.

5. Rinse with a power washer or hose and dry using a fresh, microfibre towel.

On one side, plush-pile loops of chenille microfibre remove even the toughest stains and soils from the surface of your car. These soft, durable fibres are tough on dirt and grime while going easy on painted surfaces.

Once you’re done washing your car, simply flip your mitt over to the clay substrate side to decontaminate painted surfaces. This high-performance detailing clay lifts embedded contaminants from the clear coat in a matter of seconds.

The MaxShine clay mitt lasts 20-40 uses before you need to replace it. And, unlike a clay bar, the mitt rinses easily in a bucket of clean water, so you can keep using it again and again!
